New to the healthy life

I am wondering if on weekends we should "rest" our bodies or treat it like the rest of the days of the week. I am getting some advice to not workout for at least 2 -3 days and others saying yes keep going.

My plan was to still work out but just lower impact and no weights... HELP thanks

    I think it's really a personal decision. I've worked out m-f this week so I probably won't do a specific workout this weekend. I will be getting some activity in tomorrow but it's not a gym type workout. Some people workout 6days a week some only 3-4. It's really up to you how much you can handle but I do think our bodies need at least 1 day of full rest.
