What gets you motivated during a bad workout

Today, after skipping two days of Insanity and coming off a disappointing 4 week no change in the scale (which I now have on the top shelf of the closet), the workout did not start out well...

I had those thoughts of "why am I doing this - what is wrong with me, why is this so hard, maybe I would be better taking a(nother!) rest day.

Anyway, half way through the workout (I don't even remember what exercise I was doing at the time) I had to take a break, and as I knelt on the floor, I put my hands on my thighs, and felt...wait for it...REALLY STRONG MUSCLES!!! Let me tell you - I got up and kept working! How motivating - who cares about the big nasty scale when you can feel quads literally bulging - here comes summer and cute shorts and skirts! :)
