I have been experimenting with finding alternative smoothie recipes that are a good source of protein, fat and spinach in the mornings, instead of my normal oats or omelet.
This is part 2 of my experiment!
The toughest part is getting a good, stick-to-your ribs texture but this one turned out great. I like mine thick and this one I ate with a spoon.
Into my Ninja, in this order...
10 ice cubes
30 grams decadent chocolate flavoured whey isolate
1 packet/3g instant coffee
1 Tbsp/5g unsweetened cocoa
1 pack sweetener (or other sweetener to taste)
12g PB2 Chocolate (or natural PB or peanut flour)
1 Tbsp chia seeds
100 grams baby spinach
6 oz unsweetened almond milk
Blend until smooth - the ice could take some convincing. Once it's full blended, serve it up in a *very* large vessel and devour.

Rough stats with my ingredients - 251 calories, 7g fat, 37g protein, 9g fiber
Totally delicious!
I'll be posting more spinach smoothie experiments in the coming weeks. Part 1 can be found here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/891105-almond-mango-coconut-protein-smoothie-with-spinach
