NYE Resolution: Gain Weight

Suppers! My name is Hector. I made fitness a lifestyle starting in Jan 2009 when I weighed 195lbs and a year later I reached my goal of 140lbs. I maintained a weight of 140 - 150 over the course of 2010 - end of 2012.

At the end of 2012 I decided to challenge myself with a new goal, that is to gain lean muscle mass on a clean bulk and a weight lifting routine.

That's quite a backward NYE resolution, to gain weight, isn't it? My goal is to gain 16lbs, from 144 to 160, over a 16 week period. I started Nov 26th and just finished my 11th week. So far I'm at 155lbs and my lifts have continually gone up in weight.

Once I finish the program I'll go on a 3 month cut to lose the fat that I gained over the course of the 16 weeks, just in time for summer!

Wow, that's a commitment. 4 months of lifting and 3 months of cutting. What can I say, it's a lifestyle that I love!

I value what I've accomplished and I'm all for sharing what I've learned over the last several years.
