New to lifting...

I am new to lifting and I am wondering what some good exercises are for a total body workout. I'm looking to lose alot of weight so I do alot of cardio, but I don't want to be skinny fat and my ultimate goal is to get into fitness competitions.
So lifting is a MUST for this.

What moves do you do and how many reps? I'll be lifting heavy so lots of weight, less reps.
