I HATE CRAWFISH!

I really hate crawfish, my husband loves them so people always invite us to crawfish boils. Ive tried eating just the corn and potatoes but the half cajun texans think everything has to be so hot and spicy your mouth burns for hours! Plus I am allergic to most of the spices! So I usually just end up sitting there holding my breath because the smell is awful and grossing out on the slurping slimmy yucks...Any one else go through anything similar?
