You look great! I love seeing 44lbs can make such a big difference on us shorties. I'm only 5'2 as well!! Keep up the good work.

Way to go. Seriously, 44 lbs, that is a serious amount of weight. I can't imagine losing that much! That is awesome! How much did you weigh before and how much do you weigh now?

Edit: Nevermind, I see you've updated the photo. Either way, congratulations and keep it up!

    Amazing job!

(oh on your current pic you labelled it 2012 but I'm pretty sure you mean 2013!)

Ha thanks! Yes the last one is from about a month ago (2013)!

Thank you everyone. I'm always encouraged by the success story posts. It's been slow and (not)steady for me. Lots of weeks with no changes. In the beginning (March 2012-September 2012) I only counted calories and did some cardio. In October, I started working with a trainer and learned that strength training makes a huge difference. I've only lost 10-15 lbs between October and now but I am fitting into size 10 pants (down from 18-20 originally) and I feel so strong. I know these aren't the traditional progress pictures but I can see a difference and I'm excited to keep working hard.

My current goal is to finish the Tough Mudder in May.

Awesome progress! Keep it up! It's tough for shorter ladies, I commend your hard work!

Also, I've done a tough mudder! Plan some recovery time for afterwards!
