Odd questions that we must ask anyway

 We all have those silly, odd, straight from left field that have no real need to know but we just want to know anyway. Here is my question:
How much does hair weigh? I have lost 67lbs and gained by natural growth 2.5 inches of thick hair.
I know it's silly and makes absolutely no bearing but I'm curious, 3oz, 1oz... what do you think... so GO!

don't forget toenails and fingernails. Toenails thicken as we get older, I'm sure that accounts for most of my weight gain.

If you could stand on the scale and have someone else lift your hair and support it while you looked at the scale again, you'd have a rough idea of how much your hair weighs. then if you measured the whole length you could figure out how much 2.5 inches would weigh. Let us know if you figure it out.

save all the hair that comes out of your brush in a plastic baggy and weigh at the end of 1 year-- an interesting experiement.
