what are your tips to stay on track and motivated

So i started on here a year ago but for the last few months i have been losing and gaining the same few pounds. What helps you stay focused and on track? Or do i need to be hit by a brick and have a chair breaking experiance before it happens.
I have had a tough start to the year with my husband now working 2 months away 1 month at home... but i am sick of making excuses and just need some ideas to stay motivated no matter what stresses are around me.

Focus. Find something that will motivate you eg: a holiday, a pair of pants etc. stop making excuses and just get to work doing it. Good luck. Add me if you like!0

Don't go for the chair breaking, its particularly embaressing it happened to me. And yes it turned me in to an obsesive nut. It is only now that ive lost 80 pounds that i have realised that it just makes me feel good to eat healthy (and yes i have the odd spoil me day) and the exercise makes me want to get up in the morning! Start with baby steps, make small changes everyday and one day you will wake up and realise you feel good! That will keep you going.0

Find goals that have nothing to do with the scale. I'm trying to focus on fitness goals, because always being out of breath is just not a fun way to go through life! When I can lift something heavier or jog a little farther, it's a great motivator.0
