Cardio and strength--is that it?

I only see the choices of adding exercise as cardio or strength in my diary. Is that the only way to input the workouts I do? Many of my exercises are cross-training, like 30 day shred or Karen Voight Streamline Fitness. I'm not sure how to input those and how to estimate the calorie burn.

You can get calorie expenditures from other web sites and create your own exercises in the MFP system. Give it a title, log it as cardio, and add the calories. It doesn't really matter if it's technically all cardio or not; it only matters (for MFP purposes) that the numbers add up correctly.

I think the strength part of it is for you to keep track of reps/sets/weight progression. It's got nothing to do with calories far as I can tell.
