Ladies only, hormone-related weight loss issues

This is an issue that has had me puzzled for weeks now.
I am on the pill and on a three month cycle. I was in my last monthly pack when breakthrough started. Before this, I had lost about 15 lbs. really fast (not doing anything outrageous at all, the most extreme thing I did was cut out most sugars and cut down on carbs for a while which were both big parts of my diet). But as soon as the breakthrough issues started, I stopped losing weight completely and suddenly. I know the sudden drop in weight probably had a lot to do with this starting along with the sudden diet changes and exercising more by putting my body under stress. Well, it has been going for about three weeks now and no change. For the first week my weight shot up by several pounds, then dropped back down to where it was to start with at the lowest number. And it has stayed there so faithfully that both my scales weigh me the same down to the ounce every single morning I weigh no matter what I do. Anyone experience similar issues? It is so frustrating! I would love to know if anyone has gone through anything similar and how it worked out eventually.
The other day I decided to just go ahead and skip to the last week in the pack and get it over with since the issue doesn't seem to be stopping. Hopefully if I can get it out of the way, then start a new pack, things will improve.
