Double NSV day!

My first NSV was not one, but two people telling me I look like I've lost some weight. I can tell that my gut is smaller, but I'm so glad other people can too.
The second was a different kind of success. I teach Sunday School at my church to kindergarten and 1st graders, and today, I thought we'd try something different for snack. In addition to the standard goldfish crackers and juice, I brought some carrot chips for them to try. I grabbed half a bag, thinking I'd eat them along with maybe 1 of kids. Well, 3 out of 5 ate the carrots. They ate enough that I didn't get any of them, lol. Hearing the comments from parents and the other teachers was really great too. They're happy that I'm encouraging the kids to eat healthy along with me.
Today was a much needed boost of confidence and a confirmation that I'm doing the right thing. :-D

Great job with the carrots...
I went a whole year without anyone mentioning my weight loss even though. I had lost 28 pounds in the first 8 mo. Finally just a few weeks ago someone said I looked great. He was losing weight too so he noticed. Glad someone noticed you...0 -
What a great way to start your day! Knowing that the kids loved something healthy. PLUS add in people seeing your success.
Did you make the carrot chips yourself? If so, how? I am wondering if my kids would eat them.0 -
Thanks everyone!
I buy the chips. They're just carrots that are crinkle cut like potato chips. Great for dipping in low cal yogurt ranch!0 -

Thank you, but that's actually a before pic. I weigh probably 5-7 pounds less now. I have a long way to go, but it's encouraging to have signs that I'm going in the right direction0
