Hi everyone - I'm Holly and I've been off and on MFP but now here to stay, I'm pretty sure I've hit my rock bottom - had to have been the box of Girl Scout cookies I scarfed down the other night because I was mad at myself for not losing weight. Yeah, that makes sense
Any way, I'm looking for some friends who can inspire and motivate, and are looking for some of that back. Happy Sunday!

Hi Holly,
I'm Megan, I'm 31, and I've been on MFP for about 5 months. I'm thrilled with my progress so far, due largely to the encouragement of a close friend and my mom, both on MFP. But I hit a plateau a couple months ago and got discouraged. I'm back on track now, and looking for more friends and inspiration to keep me going. So I'd love to add you.
Saw on your profile that one of your goals is to run comfortably. I started running a couple years ago, and though I still run VERY slowly (4.5 mph), I do run consistently and comfortably. If you've started, and you know you can do it with a combo of running and walking, I'd encourage you to sign up for a fun 5k race. Before I hit the point when the running was fun for it's own sake, having a race coming up was the best motivation I found to get me out there regularly. I had periods of walking during my first several 5k races, but the atmosphere and the sense of satisfaction when I finished were truly inspiring!0 -
