Since Oct 1st 2012 I've lost 20kg (44lb). Been on holiday the past week - wasn't so strict with my diet, though tried to eat more good than bad. But I had a couple of "hey, what the *" moments, and a couple of beers, and a little chocolate too. Anyway, back to normal routine from today, and got on the scales this morning and thankfully not gained anything
) Now, I know that does involve a scale, but the real victory as far as I'm concerned is that I've moved my mindset far enough that I can have some beer, chocolate, treats, and not weigh and measure everything, but still maintain the same weight. Previously I'd have gone WAY overboard with holiday treats!!
Also, got a horrid cold/cough thing going on at the moment (so no real return to exercise just yet) and as I had a huge coughing fit this afternoon, I held my tummy in and, oops!, my trousers fell down! I'd only bought these in January (thankfully) in the sales, but not going to be able to wear them much longer I think!
