Question about muscle gain

I'm a 37 year old woman. I've started the 30 day shred, with that type of work out (squats, lunges and light arm weights) is it possible to gain a pound of muscle by the 30th day? I know age plays a lot into it. I'm also concerned with not having any rest days for the muscle to repair. If you're doing something 30 days in a row is it even possible to gain muscle or would it just be a fat loss kind of thing?
