This has probably been asked 1000x but I am trying to lose 100+ pounds and I'm confused wether you are suppose to eat back burned calories so you net equals your beginning total? I would think No, cause how do you lose if you are eating more calories than mfp sets for you. Please help me understand

Yes, you eat them back. The calorie goal MFP gives you already takes a deficit into account. That is why when you add exercise in the website adds those calories back to your goal.
Your body needs fuel to run properly. Far too many people eat too little, and exercise too much leaving close to nothing for their body.
When you don't eat back your exercise calories you risk having far too high of a deficit which causes muscle loss.
Eat your exercise calories back!0
