I'm an almost 24 yr old female with an overall goal of 52 lbs and I started this year with the actual goal of getting rid of the extra weight. I say getting rid of because, to me lose, means I want to find it again. I don't want to find it again, (ever). I had a wake-up call in December (check out my blog/profile for back story). I tipped the scale at 202 lbs. I come from a big family, both in size and body shape. Both my mom and my grandma got bigger in their teenage years and early adulthood. I didn't (and still don't) want to be like that. A few years ago I was injured for a long time, and gained some weight. I kept telling myself I should lose it, but never committed to actually losing it. Until the wake up call in December. In all my "I should lose this extra" times, I did a lot of research on the best way TO lose. Now I feel I am finally ready to put all of that research into good use. I am a generally positive person who enjoys motivating others. Anyone interested in another member for their motivation team feel free to add me.
