Any suggestions for workouts....

I am currently doing mainly cardio, treadmill, elliptical, bicycle, but I know that I need to add in some weight training and was hoping for suggestions on things I can do to help lose the fat in my upper arms, my muffin top and back.

    what do you like? That will bring you the best results because you will stick with it. If you don't know then try everything and be sure to try everything more than once before you make a decision, about 3-5 times.

    Does the gym you attend have any group fitness classes that you are interested in? Are you interested in heavy lifting? If so, people here recommend strong lifts.     HAHA, I like to run, but I have never really gotten into weights/toning. Not looking for a lot of muscle, just to be tone.

    You like to run, then sign up for a 5k (which I think is awesome but unfortunately I am not a runner!).

    Strength training won't make you gain a lot of muscle but it will tighten you up and make you smaller, not to mention a better runner and better at pretty much everything.

    Does the gym you attend offer any strength classes? I find they help you work on proper form and give you the confidence to move out into the weight room. Or you find them totally awesome and keep up with it upping your weight every now and then.

    Heavy lifting won't bulk you up, but it WILL help with dropping more weight and make you look amazing. Maybe book a single session with a trainer at the gym and give them your fitness goals so they can get you pointed in the right direction?

    I live in a very small town, really no personal trainers here, but I found a site online that showed me what I should be doing! Gonna take up the lifting next week and add it to my workout. Gotta a lot of weight to lose before June :)
