It has recently been suggested to me to try doing some meditation to learn how to relax (I'm the type of person who is constantly doing/thinking about a million things at once.) Does anyone have recommendations of websites, youtube videos, dvd's, etc of good guided meditation for a beginner?

I've been practicing meditation for nearly 30 years.
For a beginner, I recommend anything by Jon Kabat Zinn. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Kabat-Zinn
His mindfulness meditation approach is underpinned by medical science. It is also a secular presentation of meditation so that it should be acceptable to anyone.

I recommend Thich Nhat Hanh. I love his approach to mindfulness in all aspects of life not just a sitting meditation practice. A good place to start would be his book Peace is Every Step or maybe just check him out on youtube or the interwebs.
Here is a link to the books he has authored: http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/9074.Thich_Nhat_Hanh0 -
