0.5 lbs. per week??

My goal is to lose 25 lbs.
I have my setting to 0.5 lbs. per week.... has anyone played around with the settings? What have you found makes you most successful? Has anyone lost around 25 or have 25 to lose and how fast is your progress? I'm wondering if I should increase my goal to 1lb per week.
