exercising and depression?

I have recently started working out a lot... usually 5 - 7 days a week for about 1-2 hours a day. I love it.. i love the way it makes me feel physically and mentally. Well.. I have noticed that when I take a day off from the gym I feel depressed and lonely. I have no history with depression or anything.. so its definitely something new. Has anyone else experienced this? what did you do? and what is it from?

    I base this off nothing, since I didn't even bother to Google it, but possible endorphin withdrawl?
