Ok so this is mt first week using mfp and am please to say i lost 3lb so more than a little happy.
However my calories don't seem to have adjusted to suite my new weight, do people change this manually as it says in the help topic that it only changes for every 10lb you lose? how can that work if at losing 1lb per week you have a daily calorie defect of 500. Surely i'm going to plateau before i lose 10lb if i don't change my calories.

When you get to 10 lbs lost mfp asks if you want to adjust, just say "yes" & it does it for you
You will not plateau at this stage I assure you0 -
Even if i only want to lose 14lb in total? That means my calories only change once though my whole planned weight loss.0

Ah, was not aware of that as most on here [me included] have tons to lose
Maybe manually alter it after say 5 pounds? Then it would be two changes & out0 -
You mean you had loads to lose, looks like your doing a great job. Thanks for the info.0
