Too much sodium

I can't see a whole lot wrong with my diet, except I eat on average more sodium than I am supposed to, and considering I am trying to eat healthy that surprises me. I went looking through what I eat to find out where is all the sodium coming from and found it was my girlfriend's Chili that was the main reason I'm over. Per serving(cup) it has 414 mg of sodium and I try to eat some every day because 1. I think it's good for me as it is loaded with fiber and 2. Because she wants it to get eatten up before it spoils. When I get looking at where all the sodium is I find that the chili beans in chili sauce have 3290 mg of sodium, and the great northern beans has 1435 mg, and the diced tomatoes( 3 1/5 cups) has 1847 mg of sodium.

Any suggestions on whether this seems like an issue? I'm only over my sodium by an average of 200 mg a day. I don't have high blood pressure or major health problems.
