How long did it take u all to lose ur weight and get to the point the u r currently at and wat did u do to get there? Whether u have reached ur final goal or not.
I started Jan 5 by drinking a gallon of water a day, counting calories, and eating healthier and eating smaller portions. In Feb is when I started doing small workouts and I just started walking 30-40mins last week.
I have only lost 9lbs so far as u all can see and I feel like I should have lost more by now. So Im just looking to see what u all do and have done.

I think 9 lbs are pretty good since the beginning of January you know! Everybody says it: this kind of weightloss is healthy and you can maintain it
So don't be discouraged and let your body take its time!
I'm in no way an example, but just to reassure you, I've begun a diet and some exercises since the 15th of January (so a week after you roughly), and I've lost 6lbs. That's not too bad, so I guess you're doing fine with your 9 lbs so far
Keep up the great work!0 -
i wanted to lose 20 lbs and it took me a full year to do it! when i hit that 20 lb loss in Oct i readjusted my goal another 5 lbs and i haven't yet reached it0

I also started in January and have lost 9 lbs. I am happy w that and I feel like a different person already. My clothes look much nice and some even too loose. Also the changes i have made in my life are significant but sustianable. I choose not to starve myself, but instead have a reasonable calorie deficit I can maintain for the long run as I have 50 lbs to lose. If I can lose at this pace of about 6 lbs per month, I will be really happy.0

I started Friday 4th Feb
I have tracked what I have eaten in a diary for the last 7 weeks (literally everything) and also tracked my exersice.
I have restricted my calorie intake to 1,000 (without taking away any exercise calories)
My loss's per week have been
week 1: 4 lbs
week 2: 1 lbs
week 3: 1lbs
week 4: 2lbs
week 5: 2lbs
week 6: 2lbs
My main form of exercise has been running, I run 1-2 5km runs per week and do circuits 1-2 times per week.
I started at 11 st 6 lbs im now down to 10 st 8 lbs and my aim is to get into the 9 st's
Im a big believer in green tea (I just have tesco's own) and also make sure i eat under 500 calories before dinner so I can have dinner and desert (always crave something sweet at about 8 pm!!) weightwatchers chocolate melt deserts are amazing and only 160 cals!!
Also im currently a small 12/large 10 UK. My aim is to fit into a size 10 comfortably/ squeeze into a size 8 ha!
My best decition has been joining the gym, i go about 4 times a week for 1-2 hours. Hope this helps a little!!0 -

my clothes didn't feel any different until i lost 10 lbs and it was maybe 1 size. at that point when i hit a 10 lbs loss and was about 130 ish ( from 142) i went from a 29 to a 28 jean and from a size 9-11 to a size 7/8 the biggest difference for me was when i hit 15 lb loss, that extra 5 lbs made a huge difference. i went to 125 lbs and was a solid size 5.0 -

Where I'm at today?... Well began Oct. of 2011 lost around 30 lbs by june of 2012 doing exercises and eating at home a lot (healthier meals).... took a break and gained 20 lbs back... began again in January and have lost 10 lbs. I should also note that I have a LONG history with roller coaster weight. I am always trying to get better though with both exercise and diet.0

200 pounds in 22 months with the last 1.5 pounds taking 2 months. I have about another 7 pounds to go but could be less. I just have a bit above and below my belly button which I like to see go. I don't mind if it even takes 1 pound per month now.0

I lost an average of half a pound a week. I didn't have a lot too lose and they it is a slower road .0

I started January the 2nd and have lost 5lbs. Some days Im ok with that and others its a struggle. Im a lifter, and I lift heavy so I can't expect to see dramatic changes in weight loss. I have lost inches though so I must be doing something right. Looking at doing this for a year hopefully with some great results at the end of it.0

I have been lifting since September and not paying attention to my weight. I take several workout supplements, plus a couple fat burners (green tea extract and CLA). I just started trying to loose fat at the end of January. My weigh in is on Fridays. As of 2/15, and since 1/26 (three weeks) I have lost 5.4 lbs, down from 170.2 lbs-164.8 lbs. I eat 1350-1550 calories per day sunday - thursday, stay around 1800-2400 friday and saturday. Lift 5x per week. And do cardio if the urge hits (the urge hit about 3-4 times last wee, but that is all the cardio I have done). Body fat % has gone down approx. 3%, from ~17.5% to ~14.4%.0

It's taken me nearly 7 weeks to lose what I've currently lost. I did it by eating 1500 cals per day (unless I worked out, then I ate back some, but not usually all of those cals), and working out (running/walking on the treadmill) 4 to 6 days per week. I started at 228 and am down to 204.4. MFP rounds it up.
I started out by eating what MFP recommended, which was 1200 cals a day, and that did NOT work for my poor body. Nausea, lightheaded along with headaches. No energy. I upped my calories and it's been working fantastic.
Currently, I'm fighting a stomach virus, so that helped with the last couple pounds, too. Yuck!0 -
It has taken my 7 months to lose 70lbs. So you are right on track. its only about 10 lbs per month... Keep on keeping on... Good job..0
-
I've lost a little over 29 pounds since July 2012 - about 1 pound loss per week. I log into MFP EVERYDAY no matter what. That's really helped me succeed. I've also learned to love working out and found workouts I am passionate about.0
