cake ,, well for Easter I was gonna make this awesome looking marshmallow lemon cake from scratch and damn i have almost all the ingredients til i kept looking at it and then i seen how many calories was in it,, now i am not making it ,, every one else is bummed but come on 497 calories per serving!!!! 24 fat grams and get this 64 carbs... ouch ouch ouch and more ouch but dang the cake looks good

    We are having a Carvel Ice Cream Cake as my baby girl is turning 10 tomorrow. Can you substitute anything in the recipe like apple sauce instead of oil to cut the calories down a little?

    I would substitute apple sauce for the oil and part of the sugar. Kill two birds with one stone!
