New BMF!!

So just recently got myself a BMF. Love being able to see my calories burned, and it is a great motivator to get moving. I am assuming that I should aim for a 1,000 to 500 calorie deficit. I am 30 and only 5'1 1/2 tall at 187.6. I aim to burn 2800 a day and eat 1800 a day. Only been a few days, and I have just added some leg work, but seems my scale went up a lb. I know it's too soon and I'm ignoring it because I don't weigh in until Fridays, just wanted to make sure that this is a good way to go about it. Any advice from others using a BMF? What are others daily goals/targets? Any other 5'2 ladies with advice on their caloric intake and having continuing weight loss?
