Any other HDG-ers out there??

I'm using HCG (not HDG -wouldn't let me edit the title) to help me to my fitness goal. Any others out there to help support and maybe help with recipes?

How many recipes do you even need for 500 calories a day?

You can use the search function and type in HCG and see what this topic usually leads to...

They now have it set up for 500, 800 or I think 1200 calorie in takes per day. Just not sure on how to cook some of the items on the list.

Several friends who tried the program said it wasn't worth it. Very restrictive and not something for the "long haul"...and not sustainable. Sorry to be a downer, but they all eventually went with the old tried and true method of watching food choices, portions and exercising. All have been much more successful now. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

I just google HCG Diet. Scary. I would rather take the weight off slowly and keep it off. But I wish you luck, if that is what you decide to try.

Done that. Fresh leafy green salads will be your best bet. NO OIL. NO CHEESE. Yes, I am screaming.... They suggest melba toasts. I would ignore this food. You will not need it, You will need all the nutrients you can get. I love sashimi, so I had fresh fish and that was easy. 90g of turkey breast twice per day is also good start.

I see your ticker. You want to lose 18LBs. Just curious why HCG? This site can guide you through pretty easily towards your goal the natural way. PM me if you have any questions.

Surely this will make your body very weak? Also when you come off of this diet after losing the weight, you will pile it all back on again even if you are eating a low amount of calories for a regular diet?

Just a heads up, topics about HCG are usually locked as they consider it against the TOS. There was a group, not sure if there still is or not.

    I am not a HCGer.

A glass of milk and a peanut butter sandwich. BAM. You're done eating for the day. No cooking.

That sounds brutal. Genuinely, I would rather be fat forever than live like that.

    Are you a nail-biter?
I'd start eating myself uncontrollably if I went on a diet that crazy.

How, exactly, do you think this is going to help your fitness goals? Such a low calorie diet will result in loss of muscle and will not provide fuel for fitness.
