BMR and TDEE, please help

I am kind of confused on these two things. MFP sets my calories goal at 1750 and my BMR is 2,038 and I am not sure what my tdee is. I am 5 foot 8 inch tall, 20 years olds and 269 pounds. My job would be slightly active if that matter and I also work out about 5 days a week for around 45 minutes. Someone please help me on what you think I should do as far as calorie intake goes so I can see the biggest reward for all my efforts both long term and short term.

Put In place of a roadmap in the search box and complete the spreadsheet that haybales put together and presto! There is your TDEE - 20% for success

TDEE is total daily energy expenditure. If you ate this amount, your would neither gain or lose weight. MFP doesn't really calculate that as they do not account for exercise in their equation. That is why when you enter exercise, it tells you to eat those calories back. Other calculators account for exercise, daily life and BMR which gives you TDEE, then subtract a deficit from that. Most times you end up in the same place.

What did you select as your weight loss goal per week? How much are you looking to lose?

2 pounds a week, and I have a lot to loss about 125 total and I am down about 16 already, so over 110 pounds still left to go.
