Calories burnt while shivering for four hours? :P

I was at a protest today for four hours in the cold (I'm in Alberta, Canada) and wasn't really able to move (chained up) aside from jumping around to keep my feet from freezing up. I was shivering most of the time and am still warming up 2 hours later! I don't suppose I can skip a workout tonight, can I? Did I burn any calories? My muscles say I did, as they are sore from being tense in the cold, but they're whiners and cannot be trusted.

Energy expenditure can go up to about 400% of basal rate when shivering. So much so that great effort is taken in operating rooms to prevent hypothermia and shivering.
I think a good WAG would be about 200% of your basal energy expenditure for those 4 hours.0
