hmmm Not sure, I'd say about one week ago after one month of working out (~20 pounds lost), now more and more people are noticing. I'm doing this for myself but, It's nice to see that other people are noticing it too :)
  • I was surprised with mine - no one noticed until I had lost 25-30 lbs. I've lost 58 and I still have some people who haven't noticed.

I have had a couple of NSV moments...pants that haven't fit in a long time that do now, feeling like I can feel a waistline again, me noticing my legs are getting shaplier. But considering that I have lost 17.5 lbs, I am kind of disappointed people have not really noticed (they do know I am counting my calories and exercising, but no one has said they see a difference).

It may possibly be because I am now close to the weight people are used to seeing me at for so long(my highest weight ever gained within the last year or so). I can't explain it any other way.

Im down 20lbs so far, and no one has really said too much yet. My mother in law asked "good lord girl, how much weight have you lost?!!" haha, that was a pretty funny moment.

I don't know if I have actually gotten that yet, at least not from people that don't know I am working towards losing some weight. And I have lost nearly 23 pounds.

Mine was today after 7 weeks and I can only estimate about 15-20 lbs I didn't get an accurate start weight.

The people that know that I'm losing weight have commented since nearly the beginning, but I'm still waiting for a non-family member to mention it.

Though, now that I think about, people may just be treating it as a delicate situation (i.e. waiting until it's super obvious so as not to offend) -- I've gotten more "You look so great"s lately. Just nothing specific to weight loss.

Oh well! There have been many other NSVs thus far to make me feel great anyway!
  • I got it on loss of my 23lb about 20 days into my diet.

It wasn't until I'd lost nearly 30 lbs that people started to comment. And I think that many of them only noticed because I cut my hair super short (pixie cut) after fifteen years of wearing it shoulder length or longer. So then they'd double take and look at me a bit more closely and realize that I was much smaller than before too. "Wow, your hair looks great...and hey, you've lost a lot of weight, haven't you?" was something I heard a lot! And once you start buying new stylish clothes, then people really start noticing it.

There is Filipino woman in my chess club who used to tell me that all the time, even before I started the new lifestyle. Other than her, I got it a couple of weeks ago from a couple who hadn't seen me in months. Unfortunately I've hit a plateau but I suspect it may be because I'm undereating. Will resume close tracking tomorrow.
  • Mine was also today, lost almost 20 lbs so far, I went to the casino today for some fun (Family Day) and the security guard asked me for I.D. the thing was, he didn't believe my I.D. was real, he asked for 2 pieces plus for me to take of my glasses, he checked my ID about 10 times over 5 min because he didn't believe the person in the pic looked like me.... I was about 200 lbs in the pic, down to 180 lbs, I was so happy all day :D It really made my day lol

Just last week people started commenting on my weight loss. I was starting to think no one had noticed!

It's funny because before I started losing weight I would not infrequently get comments from co-workers asking if I was losing weight (I figured just due to strategic wardrobe choices). Now that I've actually lost some weight no one has said anything. 20+ lbs so far!

Lol I felt super embarrassed the first time someone said that to me..

I guess I was ashamed people noticed I was trying if that makes sense

Now I take my compliments like a champ ;)

I changed my lifestyle about a year and half ago. I’m down a total of 170 lbs. and I finally had a NSV about 2 weeks ago, wedding ring was to big. Then this weekend, 2 people that had no idea that I changed my lifestyle, noticed I lost weight. It only took a 170 lbs. and a year and half of my life. I have a long ways to go though.

Mine was about 2 weeks ago from someone from another department. She came to me desk to ask me a question and said, "you've lost weight." I had dropped 10 lbs.

about a month ago, a co- worker commented on my healthier lunches and resisting the food at the office. I noticed the decreased "granny flaps" ( Arm Jiggle) and better looking legs around that time too. Over all, I am down 10# since Dec. 1 and 32 total since my highest wt. Love the " Drat, have to buy smaller pants" feeling. Hubby even says " those pants are baggy in the butt, get new ones!" Tee HEE!

My husband saw a big difference about two weeks ago. My coworkers also have started to comment on noticing the weight loss! It feels great to have family and friends notice my efforts.

My sisters can tell the best because they know me so well. We had a sisters night out and went hot tubbing and they were all commenting on how great I looked and how I've lost weight. I was only 14 lbs into my journey (at least 30 left to go) so it was really rewarding to be recognized so early in my journey! Also my best friend who I haven't seen in a month kept commenting when we met up for lunch today. I'm looking forward to the time when it's SUPER obvious to co-workers and such. :)

It tends to be the people you havnt seen in a while, so if your seeing the same people day in day out dont get disheartened!
Mine was two days ago when a work collegue said I am looking 'smaller' ha! x

The first time anyones said anything was around 25lbs. After 30lbs. I started getting a lot of comments. This last week I have been getting a lot of people asking me if I have lost more weight even though I haven't lost anything in about 6 weeks. Go figure.

Today in fact! Just put on a top that in the fall was starting to get a bit tight in the back, near my shoulders. Put it on today and there's no such tightness any more. I thought some of my jeans were starting to feel looser, but am certain about with this shirt.
