Protein and an upset stomach

Hi all,

Back when I lost the majority of my weight my old personal trainer had me eating 100g protein and keeping an eye on my carbs. Back then I don't recall the diet making me particularly ill. Now that I've started exercising and focusing on getting fit again I thought I'd go back ton high-protein/low-carb days.

The last one I did, I had about 100g protein and was then rather ill with an upset stomach (I'm not going to go into details but you get the idea, I'm sure).

I've never been good with eating large quantities of meat but I get a dodgy tummy even if most of the protein comes from eggs/shakes etc.

My new personal trainer wants me on 120g of protein a day. I've had a boiled egg and some crumpets this morning and already I'm starting to feel a bit weird. Is this psychosomatic?

Anyone else had similar issues? Is it just a case of my body getting used to eating like this again? Am I detoxing and that's why I feel crappy?
