Not eating enough-low sodium diet

I've recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure and have changed to a low sodium diet. I don't buy processed foods anymore and for the most part have quit eating out. I'm still trying to figure out what affects my blood pressure the most. I made some changes to my diet last week by adding quinoa and chia seeds and my BP shot up like crazy! I'm pretty much eating Kefir and berries for breakfast, raw veggies and lean protein for lunch, more veggies and protein for dinner and Kefir and berries for snacks along with maybe some roasted peas or something crunchy. I'm struggling to even hit 1200 calories a day this way. Any suggestions on what I can add that is low sodium? I've lost 10 lbs which is good for my BP but my biggest goal is to come off of these medications and live a healthier lifestyle.

Honestly I find it terribly difficult to stay low sodium. In order to be under 1500 for sodium, which is what is suggested for those with high blood pressure, I end up under eating my calories, often by quite a bit. Plus I start feeling super restricted which leads me to wanting to eat more of non healthy foods. I've gone back to the 2500 setting for sodium on my food journal which I find I can keep under most of the time. Sodium is high in so many things, it is frustrating! I find getting enough protein without going over on sodium the biggest challenge.

Sorry this isn't any help, just commiseration!
