Bodymedia daily calorie burn accurate?

Hey everyone! Like most of you, I bought a bodymedia device. So far I really love it! However I'm wondering how accurate the daily calorie burn is? I have my setting to active where I try to get 10000 steps and 30 minutes of "vigorous" activity daily. Yesterday, with my workout and my normal daily activity, it said I burned around 3100 calories. I am only eating about 1500 calories a day and have had a hard time losing the last few pounds. I may be taking in too few calories? Anybody else have this problem or advice? I should be dropping weight like it's hot!! My day yesterday was a pretty typical day.
My weight is about 145 pounds, athletic build.
Thank you in advance

How long have you had the bodymedia? It takes a couple days to stabilize on calories burned properly.
Secondly, you may be burning that much if you are really moving it. You may be in a plateau or you may be holding onto water in your fat cells (usually the culprit on those darn plateaus!) You also have to remember you are nearing your goal so it's going to be harder to shed those pounds.0 -
Question I know some people hate that by the time you get this, you've lost weight so it's not a true "this is how much I've lost so far" total.... do you think it'd be okay to trick the system by putting your original start weight in and then the next day, put your new weight in?0

It's up to you, I don't think it matters, on the bodymedia part that is just for your reference.0
