HRM - Calorie Counters

Hi
Can anyone recommend a inexpensive HRM watch type. I would like something that will monitor my calories burned continuously for the day.
I have checked out some but they say they count the calories burnt when exercising. I would like to no how many I am burning throughout the day whether I am exercising or not.
Don't even know if these exist....
thanks in advance

My understanding is that there is no HRM watch that will measure it; they are designed to measure calories burned during steady state cardio rather than to be worn all day.
There are links to calculators that will work out your TDEE and BMR; try the 'Roadmap' thread (sorry, not sure how to do links).0 -
It sounds like you want something like the Fitbit or the Body Media, PurpleTina is right, a HRM won't do a right amount for a daily burn, it's supposed to be worn during exercise.
For the roadmap link-http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-120 -
No HRM will do that. You will need a fitbit, bodybugg, or Body Fit Media. Fitbit will be the cheapest of the options, but probably with the greatest margin of error as well.0

careful not to get to wrapped up in this. No calorie monitor is 100% accurate especially when you add the word Inexpensive to the mix, and there are little to no reasons what so ever to try and track your calories down to the very last one in a day.0

I vote for fitbit! Counts my calories all day and night, steps taken, stairs climbed, miles traveled.......... Lots of info in the tech section of community site here!0
