Hey guys,
I'm new to MFP, I have finally decide to make a change in my fitness level and eating habits. I'm afraid if i dont, other than hating myself, I will develop the medical problems that come with obesity (HTN, DM, etc.). Thank God I haven't yet.
I'm 26, 5'9" 213lbs. I was 180 about a year ago (still overweight), but since then, i graduated college, and started my career as an RN....and I piled on the lbs...STRESS. I hate looking at myself in the mirror, I am ashamed of my body, I can't even let my husband see me (naked) anymore...I feel like a stuffed sausage, about to pop.
It has taken a while to muster the motivation to even start, but I started yesterday with p90x day 1 (even though i cried most of the way through it) and making better eating choices. I believe I can do this and get fit. I'm glad to be on MFP so we can do this together.
