Newbie Help!

Hi All, I have just started to use this app and am very excited! One thing I want to check though. When i eat my calories for the day it tells me that if i carry on eating this amount I will lose less weight in 5 weeks than i would if i eat less.. however it also tells you that this may hinder your weight loss???? Confused.... should I eat my full calorie intake or not.

    Eat your full intake including your exercise calories. The goals MFP gives you are based on your weekly weight loss goal.

    The weight it gives you for the five week mark is not always accurate... it is a guide. I have never hit the goal it gives.

    Slow and steady is best. Don't try to eat less to lose more. The higher your deficit the more muscle you will lose, the harder it will be to keep the weight off. Faster weight loss can also lead to more loose skin.
