For a second try. So far have lost almost 20 pounds and when I reach that goal, I am getting new gym shoes so I can walk better on my treadmill. I am Shelly. In my 40s and just went from the Obese category to the overweight category. I never was so thrilled to be overweight! I use MFP, Weight Watchers and Fitbit and love how the Fitbit and MFP work together. I workout using a treadmill but due to a sore foot, can only do about 30 minutes of walking at a 3.4-3.6 MPH pace. I gained most of my extra weight in the past 5 years after a back injury and then breaking my foot. I finally have that extra weight off and am now working on getting to a weight where I feel fit and healthy and can wear the more fashionable clothes. I also have goals to lower my cholesterol naturally since I do not tolerate statins well. I love the encouragement I get on MFP and want to keep this new weightloss excitement going! Looking forward to making more MFP friends
