So last night I went to Red Lobster with my family and I didn't eat all of my food. The soup I'm easily able to say I ate half of last night and half of today, but the main course was not so evenly divided. It was a lobster tail, shrimp scampi and some other shrimp with rice pilaf. I still have most of the shrimp scampi and all of the rice. If those are accounted for already in my calories for yesterday (and I didn't go over my goal), do I need to try and figure out how to log them with today's food? Or is it basically right to think that if I don't go over yesterday OR today (only counting the shrimp and rice for yesterday) it'll pretty much average itself out?

If it fit in yesterday's goal but you didn't finish it you can still eat it today. Daily deficit isn't very important, your weekly deficit will still be the same anyway.0
