Oscar Party Food Ideas

I'm hosting an Oscar Party this Sunday for a group of about 20 people. I'm trying to come up with food ideas that will please but won't be that bad for you. Any suggestions?? Looking for appetizer type things - if you have an idea with an Oscar theme that would be great too!!

The big grocery shopping trip is on Saturday :)

Any help would be really appreciated!

man, i love oscar theme parties. (i'd do my own this year, but i'll be out of town.)

since argo is set in the middle east, you could do hummus.
life of pi: you could do some sort of pie (seriously, sugar free chocolate pudding with some PB2 mixed in, put in a graham cracker crust and top with sugar free cool whip is pretty darn low in calories). or something fishy since he's on a boat. or indian food since he's sailing from india.
since there are two french based movies (amour, les mis) up for best picture, you could do something french. look up things that might not be too high in calories.
beasts of southern wild and django unchained are both set in the south, so you could do something southern. my vote is for texas caviar (even though i don't think either of these are set in texas.) but it's a good appetizer type thing. serve with baked tortilla chips.
silver linings playbook: anything with a football theme.
lincoln: you could do something american looking with blueberries and strawberries.

I like hummus. It goes with just about anything, and you can make/buy different flavors. You can dip fresh fruit in dark chocolate. Put a toothpick in it, so people can grab and go.
