HEALTH ISSUES........

By Losing weight will that decrease Healthy issues? i.e. Diabetes..High blood pressure etc.....

I saw something on Rachael Ray where she said her friend was diagnosed with Diabetes 2 and doesn't have it anymore because he changed his diet...but someone else told me once diagnosed you can never cure it....Any suggestions?

    You can control it through diet. I don't think you can "cure" it, because you will always have to watch your sugars after being diagnosed with it.

    And when I say "control it through diet" I mean, no medications are taken to control it. Just by eating properly and exercising.

    It will improve or effectively cure those cardiovascular related chronic diseases for most people. Many can get off medication and everyone can lower the risk of premature death.

    The study PU put up is very cool, please note though that the multi-vitamin is essential if you're going to do something that crazy. Electrolyte levels are important for cardiovascular health

    The part that is hereditary is whether you are at risk in the first place. Anyone can lower their risk, no matter what genetic hand they are dealt.

    My BP is up so the Doc put me on BP meds :( but she said the more weight I lose the better my BP will be and I will be able to get off the meds :)
