What is a healthy alternative to tortilla chips if you'd like to eat salsa? Any ideas? Thanks!

I use pita cut it up and spray it with some pam and then a little seasoning then bake them for a few minutes!0

Corn tortillas cut up and baked aren't bad either. Unfortunately there isn't a great substitution for fried chips!0

Guiltless Gourmet tortilla chips are only 120 calories a serving (18 chips), which is pretty good I think. And I can actually pronounce everything on the ingredient list, which is nice. Sometimes I just cut up plain corn tortillas and bake them in the oven. No oil needed.0

Melba toast. It's less fattening, crunchy and satisfies0

Wasa or ryvita toasts...very tasty.0

I really like Wild Harvest organic yellow tortilla chips, with Glen Muir Garlic Cilantro organic salsa...yum! I like that there's lots of flavor, great texture and less sodium than "regular" chips and salsa.0

I know it isnt a snack, but I love salsa with fish fillets, very yummy.
Pitta is good, just pop it in the toaster,0 -
Baked tortilla chips are really good, low in calories.0

Great suggestions, ladies! I'm excited to try this. I love salsa too and couldn't seem to part with tortilla chips and I won't eat flour tortillas anymore.0

I like the Olive Tortilla chips by "Food Should Taste Good". They have a good sweet potato tortilla chip as well, but it's sweeter. I don't dip the sweet potato ones in anything.0

I often eat Genisoy Soy chips and salsa.0

I'm glad I came across this thread because I'm a chip and salsa lover myself. I'll have to try a few of these ideas!0

My stepdad buys Ezikiel (sprouted grain) tortillas, brushes them with EVOO, and bakes them in the oven until they are a little crispy (more chewy). They taste pretty good.0

I like "Garden of Eatin" blue corn chips (in the organic section at my stores)... I can't seem to get on their website right now to get a nutritional panel, but they sure do taste good.0
