Question about CMT - no, not Coutry Music Television!

I am just wondering if there are any members out there with Charcot Marie Tooth - apparently it is also called (or similar to?) Hereditary Peripheral Neuropathy.

My Partner was diagnosed at around the age of three - from what I understand (and it is not a lot that I know about this) people are not usually diagnosed until they are in their 30s or so...

What I am wondering is whether or not there are a)members out there with CMT and b) what kind of exercise they are doing. From my understanding of it, with the muscle deterioration it can be difficult to exercise and I am wondering what other's do to get around this...

I know that it is a shot in the dark! Most doctors dont even know what it is : )
