I have my Pandora "Ke$ha" station. If I'm not working out, I don't love her music, but when I'm working out it gets me pumped. I have a deal with myself that when any of the following songs come on I have to push harder, no matter how hard I'm already pushing.

    Try by Pink
    Cannibal by Ke$ha
    Stronger by Kelly Clarkson
    Evacuate The Dancefloor by Cascada
    Die Young by Ke$ha
    Animal by Ke$ha

There are a few more, but I don't remember them all off the top of my head.

Edit: I concur with everyone who said they work too hard for a full hour. I still have to fit in strength training. I used to do an hour, then I stepped it up.

I have four kids at home... a treadmill (after they've gone to bed) is my only cardio....

I am looking to make a playlist on my iPod that is more upbeat and easier to keep pace with... silence sucks and i LOVE music... just curious as to what everyone else listens too..

Yea, silence makes it harder. Anything up tempo will keep you going. You have to pick music you can stand listening to.

Lately, my favorites are 'Sweet Nothing' by Calvin Harris and 'A Little Taste' by Skyler Stonestreet. If you haven't heard them, download 'em. They're excellent!

I listen to pretty much anything upbeat when I'm doing my circuit but when I'm done with that my cardio on the treadmill involves a tv and The Food Network... Yeah I'm sick like that but hey I like to cook. :-)

I usually watch TV instead. Usually something distracting like How I met your mother or something sitcomy. If my kid had commandeered the TV I will listen to Ke$sha like some of the others have said. Also there is a website that had a list of all the songs with their beats per minute to increase your tempo. It's: http://www.runningmusicmix.com/
