I can't think of anything that would keep me on a treadmill for that amount of time.

I watch movies, especially thrillers or action movies.. it keeps me motivated to stay on so I can find out what happens, even though it usually takes me two sessions to finish a movie..

I switch up my gym playlist fairly often to keep from getting bored(I obviously keep favourites) but to name a few:

I love it(I don't care) by Icona Pop
Dancing on My Own by Robyn
    Thrift Shop by Mackelmore
    Home by Phillip Phillips
    Lose Yourself by Eminem
Radioactive by Imagine Dragons(best running song!)
Drop the World by Lil' Wayne and Eminem
I Will Wait by Mumford and Sons
Heads will Roll by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs
The Club Can't Handle Me by Flo Rida

I have my Pandora "Ke$ha" station. If I'm not working out, I don't love her music, but when I'm working out it gets me pumped. I have a deal with myself that when any of the following songs come on I have to push harder, no matter how hard I'm already pushing.

    Try by Pink
    Cannibal by Ke$ha
    Stronger by Kelly Clarkson
    Evacuate The Dancefloor by Cascada
    Die Young by Ke$ha
    Animal by Ke$ha

There are a few more, but I don't remember them all off the top of my head.

Edit: I concur with everyone who said they work too hard for a full hour. I still have to fit in strength training. I used to do an hour, then I stepped it up.

I have four kids at home... a treadmill (after they've gone to bed) is my only cardio....

I am looking to make a playlist on my iPod that is more upbeat and easier to keep pace with... silence sucks and i LOVE music... just curious as to what everyone else listens too..

Yea, silence makes it harder. Anything up tempo will keep you going. You have to pick music you can stand listening to.

Lately, my favorites are 'Sweet Nothing' by Calvin Harris and 'A Little Taste' by Skyler Stonestreet. If you haven't heard them, download 'em. They're excellent!
