I wonder how fidgeting impacts this.
I sit all day at work, but I fidget my legs constantly. I'm under no delusions that this is as good as being properly active, but it has to be better than sitting completely still.0 -
The 135 degree thing is interesting. Our ergonomic specialists at work always tell us 90 degrees. It would make sense that sitting back a little would help with circulation to my legs though. I will have to try this. Thanks for sharing!0

I've heard that fidgeting helps, but I think what is meant by that is there is a certain type of person that is always fidgety and because they move around all the time unconsciously they are always burning more energy that a naturally lethargic person. I don't think it's a trait that's easily acquired. If you are not fidgety by nature you would need to burn your energy at scheduled exercise.0
