been gone 4 awhile now I'm back

HI ALL!! I've been missin from here for along time.I've had alot goin on health wise.I was very sick for along time.I'm doin alot better now gettin back on track thought I was gonna die there a few times really scared the crap out of me n my family but by the Grace of God I am doin so much better.I'm finally back to what u would call normal as you can get I guess.Through all of this I have gained alot of weight back from not being able to be active.My kids have lost out on alot due to this.I've lost out on alot too not being able to do anything with my kids.I have 3 kids Josh 11,Draven 7 and Ayona 4. Today I decided sence I am doin better and I have recently gotten closer to God it is time again to tackle this weight for good. I now weigh 241.1lbs my goal is to lose a 100lbs by the end of summer before August 15th before my kids go back to school.Its alot but I am DETERMINED to beat this.I beat everything else now time to beat this one to.Hope everyone has a great week if any1 has any tips for me feel free to send them my way.

    Hello Lenece, thank god for your recovery & back to the weight loss thing. My suggestion would be to not have an off day & be completely faithful to your plan of burning more calories than you take in with exercise & a reduced calorie intake, but not where you become anemic.:wink::smile: :flowerforyou:

    welcome back lenece- glad you are getting a good grip on your diet, now that your health is more under control.
    i would like to invite you to visit & join a group that i am in.
    some of us started meeting together in january. we have had others join us since then (& new members are welcome)
    we are all folks who have had more than 100 lbs to lose. (some of us still have that much to go, some less) we weigh-in on fridays, & i put up a chart on sundays. we try to have a weekly challenge to help keep us motivated & working towards our goals.
    Personally, i started august 27, after taking the youngest of my 3 children to college. so, i have dropped 100 in 7 1/2 mos.

    our thread is: "eat healthy; get fit, lose 100+ new group....."
