Misleading food labels

I know we have all seen them, but this one really ticks me off. I picked up a bag of avocados at Costco not paying attention to the label. When I got home and actually compared the label to my entry, I was shocked. The bag I chose contained five avocados, the calorie count per 1/5th package is worth 50. Normal logic would be that each avocado was 50 calories, but no, each avocado is a "container" and is worth 250 calories. Apparently, each avocado is a container, each bag is five containers. :noway: Don't get me wrong, avocados are wonderful and nutricious, but the label doesn't match the facts!

Pop-Tarts do the same thing, packaging two tarts in one (nonresealable) foil bag, but the nutrition facts isn't per bag, it's per tart.0
