JM's 6 week 6 pack - how to log/Good heartrate monitor?

...yea, another question about how to log Jillian. I did a search of the forums and nothing came up.

I logged 30 day shred, and ripped in 30 as circuit training, but after doing one workout of the 6 week 6 pack, there isn't as much cardio, and I'm wondering if its still a good idea to log it as circuit training, or if I should switch to something else. I'm assuming it burns fewer calories.

I also really want to get a heart rate monitor to end a lot of this guessage, but I'm on a tight budget and probably wouldn't be able to spend more then $20-25 on one. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good monitor around that price?
