ok...so what should i do if i haven't reached my 1200 calorie mark and it's dinnertime...and i am full???

i have a spoonful of all natural peanut butter (NO sugar or salt... just smooshed peanuts) adds protein which you need and the calories to get you up to 1200... it IS better with chocolate chips on it, but try to resist that! ;o)0

i know! i've had the same thing happen to me since starting to try and eat better! it's sooo much food volume wise! you should really try and eat dinner. get as close to 1200 cals as possible. i've got a dr. somewhat monitoring my food intake and i had the same thing happen. anything under 1200 cals a day will cause your body to start getting its energy from lean muscle mass rather than stored fat. so i would say that if you're not hungry now wait a little until you are. if you can eat 3 hrs before you go to bed it's ideal but if not still have a little something healthy. it's better to eat a late dinner that consisted of veggies and lean protein than to go to bed hungry or under 1200 for the day.

I asked the same question myself a few weeks ago. The best answer I got was to make a smoothie. I found it a lot easier to drink those calories then to try and eat more.0

I go by my body - if you're not hungry don't force yourself to eat anything. One day of not eating 1200 calories is not going to send you into "starvation mode". The trick to staying healthy and thin is listening to your body and eating intuitively.0
