what do you do when you're sick

I have a cold and fear it might be bronchitis, so I skipped the work out today, took a 2 hour nap (and got probably around 8 hours of sleep for the night), had 280% of my vitamin C for the day, 3 cups of hot tea (1 with lemon), lots of water, cough drops, took dayquil, am taking nyquil to sleep well, also wore a sweater and a scarf and tried to stay inside as much as possible (since it's very dry air and cold for california but raining too)

What do you guys do?

    same here or u can say worst than you.
    high fever with continous nausea and puking :( won't be able to do any workout today and would take a break

    Same as you ...... baby myself ...... and have chicken soup ...... lots of chicken soup ...... it's the miracle cure :drinker:

  • snap but with a nasty stomach bug, been like this since last tues, im starting to feel a bit better but no where near fit enough to work out, im getting tired just getting my self dressed. Just hope my body starts to let me eat more soon, it seemes to be rejecting everything i eat at the moment. i Might just do a gentle walk ,take my time ,wrap up warm and get some fresh air. Hope your all feeling better soon :)

    Curl up on sofa with duvet over me, drink water & watch crappy daytime TV, then go to bed

    It's that time of year, I hate it! :noway: We just got over Norovirus & now I have a sinus infection! Listen to your body, do what it asks & forget cal counting til you have recovered, you often lose lbs when u r sick anyway.

    Rest up until you're better. Working out while ill will do you no favours.
    Had to take 3 weeks off in December, and had a hard time getting my back side back into action.

    I saw this same question on a Beachbody Forum for P90x, and also saw a video response and the suggestion which
    I'm giving is rest, eat your calories and let your body recover. While your sick your body increases it's metabolism and
    burns calories for you. I to am down with a cold right in the middle of my 60 days of Insanity and have taken a break. Get
    well soon.
