I've been using MFP for about five months - I'm about 2/3 of the way toward my goal weight. I've been doing a ton of cardio, and want to start working in some strength training / lifting.
As I am clueless, I've booked time (starting today) with a personal trainer to get me started.
Anyone in the same boat? Been there / done that? Send me a friend invite!

Body for life has a good starting routine. I am sure your trainer will start you on a good program. Just remember that some of the best gains you can make are in the first 6 month window so try to stay consistent and love the feeling of not being able to put a shirt on because your chest is too sore.0
